Abstract

This Reasearch was inspired by research Aswin Muhammad, et al contained in the article entitled "Bearing Damaged Detection Based On Sound Signal" which was published in the proceedings of the International Conference MIMT, Penang, Malaysia, 2014 case. 369. In this Reearch the effects of corrosion on the bearings was tested on noise bearings by comparing the sound of 1 new bearing with sound 4 bearing on corrosion in a solution of H2SO4 2% with a variation of different times, namely 5 days, 10 days, 15 days and 20 days. Then the results of research on it can be the percentage of matches between bearing sound with the value of the database is 98.8%, indicating that the fault detection database with voice bearing relatively small at only about 1.2%. Then with a random bearing sample sound input which we do not know the level of corrosion into matlab program that has been created will be gained value in magmtude so that the bearing can be identified levels of corrosion corresponding magnitude value range bearing training data that has been built before.
