Abstract
The purpose of this research are (J) To know the use of x power f or engine performance and emissions in fueled engines pertamax, premim, and mixture premium - etanol\ (2) To compare the result of engine performance test and pollutant gases for 4-steps motor fueled pertamax, premium and mixture premium — etanol which use x power. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data anatysis in this study is doing by describe the result in the form of graphs. Graphs illustrate the relationship between the effect of the use of x power of the engine performance and pollutant gases in 4-steps motor which fueled mixture premium - etanol and pertamax. Based on research result, the conclusion is power ccm increase the power and reduce pollutant gases and also save on fuel consumption. In this research, fuel mixture premium etanol 20% is nearly matching the result of pertamax test', that is in performance engine test, power produced 7,83 hp (without x power) & 7,86 hp (with x power). Power in pertamax fuel is 7,84 hp (without x power) & 7,9 hp (with x power). In fuel consumption test, 50 ml fuel spend 139 s (without x power), pertamax 149 s (without x power) & 161 s (with x power). In pollutant gases test of mixture premium - etanol 35% which the same of pertamcoc is 4,14% CO (without x power) and 3,34% CO (with x power) and 3,30% CO (with x power).
