Abstract
In this study would predict temperatur e dis t ribut ion on cutting tool in the process of turningfor titanium with FEM-Simulalion uses Autodesk Inventor Software 2016. A n analysis of this study will compare the results of the simulation using the Software Autodesk Inventor 2016 and Autodesk Simulation Mechanical with result of research Journal as a reference. From theoretical calculations in mind that the value of the conduction heat transfer is equal t o 1,44309 J/s. or 1,44309 W. Based on the simulation results obtained value of the temperature distribution in the process of turningfor Ti-6Al-4V along the 9 mm using a Carbide tool generates a temperature at the tip of the tool at 1200°C and temperature flows along fields generated tool gradually fail until 118,650°C, and temperature at the tip of the tool at 1200° C and temperature flows along fields generated tool gradual ly fail up t o 100°C of research results in the Journal as a reference. Comparison of the difference in the calculation of the study in the journal as a reference and simulation calculation program has a difference that is not too much can be stated that the method used has the appropriate accuracy.
