Abstract

Quality Assurance (OA) is a system that covers the scope of work around matters relating to how a product has quality assurance according to the promised standards. In an engineering and manufacturing activity, O A is tasked with how the standards used can be applied in all work activities and produce a product that has quality according to these standards. Therefore, in this study, O A was created by tnaking appropriate analogies of the work activities used in manufacturing activities and then applying them to teaching and learning activities. The steps taken in this study were carried out by collecting data sourced from Sriwijaya University Faculty of Engineering administrative staff and administrative staff at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Sriwijaya University which was then managed in such a way as to become a data that was ready to be used in excel. In this study the Software used is Joomla and MySQL CMS as data storage machines. so to be able to display excel format data must be converted to SOL format and follow other rules determined by the Software used. To display data into the website, several extensions are needed, Fabrik so that data can be added or subtracted and "RSPagebuilder/" To make the website look dynamic and good. In the process, the data obtained from the Sriwijaya University Mechanical Engineering Department learning activities are grouped into several dalabases according to the case studies carried out. In this stiidy, data on learning activities atid teaching as a case siudy w e re processed and s/ored into a database of children in the parent database using MySQL Software then the data was displayed in websites in theform of tables nsingJoomla CMS Software with the help of the Fabrik extension t o create data tables /ha t will be displayed and create a form t o fiil i n new data t ha t will be added to a particular table. So thal the look of the websites looks good Joomla CMS is assisted by RSPagebuilder/ To design the appearance of websites. The end resitlt of a series of process of tnaking Web-based Academic Ouality Assurance (\VAQA,) in the form of a dynamic website with the ability t o add, edit, delete, upload, download and export data about learning activities at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Sriwijaya University.
