Abstract

The objectives of this study are: 1) Analyzing corporate social responsibility arrangements according to article 74 of Law No. 40 of 2007 on Limited Liability Companies, and 2) Analyzing the regulation of corporate social responsibility sanctions at PT. Pertamina Refenery Unit III Plaju. The research method used is normative research and field data as supporting. The result of this research is: 1)The legal arrangement of corporate social responsibility under Article 74 of Law No. 40 of 2007 on Limited Liability Companies is that all companies in the form of Limited Liability Companies are required to perform Corporate Social Responsibility (TJSP) without exception, the source of funds for the implementation of TJSP is also not clearly explained so that each company has its own budget percentage for the TJSP program, in addition there are arrangements regarding tjsp violation sanctions that are not regulated clearly and in detail , so that many companies still ignore the obligations of the TJSP. 2)Form of corporate social responsibility at PT. Pertamina Refenery Unit III Plaju is PT. Pertamina Refenery Unit III Plaju implements TJSP using a partnering model with others as evidenced by the ongoing TJSP program to date in the areas of environment, education, community empowerment and funding loan assistance. Obstacles faced are lack of planning, changing the mindset of fostered partners, and bureaucracy.
