Abstract

This study aims to optimize the process of transporting waste in Palembang through DRC-OCVRP Method. In this study we discussed the problem of Demand Robust Counterpart Open Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem (DRC-OCVRP) on the transportation route of waste transportation in Palembang City by using Probing technique and Preprocessing technique to produce simpler DRC-OCVRP model. Results of the research indicate that optimal distance which a repassed by rubbish transportation vehicle in Palembang city on DRC-OCVRP model before using preprocessing and after using preprocessing technique remains the same. In addition, the results show that the number of constraints decreases, the number of variables decreases, the value of Z is unchanged, and the Z optimum model has fewer variables. The computation of the DRC-OCVRP model before and after using preprocessing is simplified with the help of LINGO 13.0 software so as to produce a simpler and more efficient model.
