Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis modal sosial dalam pengembangan objek wisata Pantai Bidadari di Desa Subik, Kecamatan Buay Pematang Ribu OKU Selatan. Modal sosial menjadi aspek penting dalam pengelolaan wisata karena melibatkan kepercayaan, jaringan, dan norma yang dapat mendorong partisipasi masyarakat untuk mencapai tujuan bersama. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk modal sosial yang berkembang di Pantai Bidadari meliputi kepercayaan antara masyarakat dan pemerintah desa, pembentukan jaringan kerja sama antar pihak seperti BUMDes, Karang Taruna, dan pelaku usaha lokal, serta penerapan norma-norma sosial dalam pengelolaan wisata. Modal sosial berperan penting dalam menciptakan peluang kerja, meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat, serta membangun sinergi yang mendorong keberlanjutan pengelolaan Pantai Bidadari. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pentingnya penguatan modal sosial untuk mendorong partisipasi masyarakat yang lebih luas dalam pengembangan pariwisata desa secara berkelanjutan.
