Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Transfer Funds, Regional Original Revenue, Budget Surplus,, Regional Area, and Financial Effectiveness on Capital Expenditure in 17 regencies/cities in South Sumatra Province during the period 2014–2023. The analytical method used is panel data regression with the Random Effect Model (REM) approach. The results show that simultaneously, Transfer Funds, Regional Original Revenue, Budget Surplus, Regional Area, and Financial Effectiveness have a significant effect on Capital Expenditure. Partially, Regional Original Revenue, Budget Surplus, and Regional Area have a positive and significant effect on Capital Expenditure. Meanwhile, Transfer Funds and Financial Effectiveness have no significant effect on Capital Expenditure.
