Abstract
Pabrik pembuatan metil klorida dengan kapasitas produksi 13.000 ton/tahun direncanakan pembangunannya pada tahun 2031 yang berlokasi di Kabupaten Bontang, Kalimantan Timur seluas 1,2 Ha. Operasi pabrik berjalan selama 24 jam/hari dalam 300 hari/tahun. Komoditi metil klorida yang diproduksi mengacu pada WO Patent No. 2024063425A1 yang menggunakan proses klorinasi metana dan hidroklorasi metanol menggunakan metana, klorin, dan metanol sebagai bahan baku produksi. Proses reaksi berlangsung di reaktor Fluidized Bed Reactor dengan kondisi operasi yaitu pada temperatur 300℃ dengan tekanan 1 atm yang di dalamnya terdapat katalis Zeolite dan Alumina. Bentuk perusahaan yang akan digunakan dalam menjalankan perusahaan yaitu Perseroan Terbatas (PT) dengan struktur organisasi yang mengacu pada struktur organisasi garis dan staff. Perusahaan dipimpin oleh direktur utama dengan jumlah karyawan sebanyak 140 orang. Hasil analisa ekonomi pabrik etil asetat menunjukkan bahwa pabrik layak didirikan karena telah memenuhi persyaratan ekonomi sebagai berikut: a) Total Capital Investment (TCI) = US $ 4.077.665,14 b) Total Production Cost (TPC) = US $ 18.721.004,27 c) Total Penjualan per Tahun = US $ 13.969.189,89 d) Annual Cash Flow (ACF) = US $ 3.184.682,41 e) Pay Out Time = 1,4278 tahun f) Rate of Return on Investment = 69,92% g) Discounted Cash Flow - ROR = 59% h) Break Even Point = 38,20% i) Service Life = 11 tahun
