Abstract
SUMMARY The Kali Angke waters flows through a densely populated area with various economic activities, making it a location for domestic waste disposal. The study was conducted at four observation stations representing various environmental conditions. Sampling was carried out using a purposive sampling method and identification was carried out at the Ecology and Biodiversity Laboratory of Jakarta State University. The analysis included ecological parameters including abundance, diversity index, evenness, dominance, and community similarity. The results showed that there were 17 identified plankton genera, consisting of 16 phytoplankton and 1 zooplankton. Plankton abundance ranged from 15-20 individuals/L, indicating that the water conditions were not optimal for high productivity. The diversity index was in the moderate category (H' = 2.04– 2.18), with high evenness (E = 0.91–0.94) and low dominance (D = 0.12–0.14), indicating the absence of highly dominant species and a relatively even distribution of individuals between species. The similarity index between stations reached over 50%, indicating that the plankton communities across the various locations tended to be homogeneous. This was also supported by the relatively similar physicochemical parameters between stations, which also influenced the uniformity of the community structure. Overall, despite the pressures of pollution and low productivity, the plankton community still demonstrated stability and adaptability to existing environmental conditions. Keywords: Kali angke , Community Structure, Plankton RINGKASAN Perairan Kali Angke mengalir melalui wilayah dengan kepadatan penduduk tinggi dengan berbagai aktivitas kegiatan ekonomi, menjadikannya sebagai lokasi pembuangan limbah domestik.
