Abstract

lengtli (can be more than one segment) which is carried out with the aim of obtaining uniform road conditions which are steady and Standard roads throughout the segment The scope of long segment work consists of road widening (towards standards), road reconstruction, road rehabilitation, road preventive maintenance, routine road maintenance, and routine bridge maintenance. The purpose ofthis research is to determine the overlay and the exact preservation technique of a road segment The road preservation handling on this research’s Iocation is using FWD (FaJling Weight Deflectometer). The way FWD works is to provide an impulse Ioad in the form of a circular (round) plate to the pavement structure to be tested which has the same eflfect as the vehicle. FWD is used to measure deflection on a pavement and also to analyze the structure of pavement from the surface to the subsoil. Sekayu - Mangunjaya road section (Sta.20+000 - Sta.42+800) is a road section that is reviewed. The method used as a reference for calculatingthis research is using AASHTO1998 and Pavement Design Manual 2017. The results of the analysis obtained by this method were 29 road handling segments which consisted of 2 minor rehabilitation segments, 4 major 2-layer rehabilitation segments, 11 major 3-Iayer rehabilitation segments and 12 segments handling reconstruction types.
