Abstract

Analysis of operational cost of market garbage vehicles in Jakabaring of Palembang City is to know how much the operational cost of vehicle (VOC) on garbage transportation system from Jakabaring market to Sukawinatan TPA. Data were collected from City Sanitation Department (DKK) and Palembang City Market Office. The author uses primary and secondary data in conducting analysis. Primary data is taken through surveys, observations and interviews. Secondary data were analyzed using a theoretical framework developed from several books and previous research. The calculation of Vehicle Operational Cost is calculated based on the calculation of fixed and non-fixed costs. To change the cost (variable) consists of fuel oil costs, oil / lubricant costs, tire usage fees, driver's and insurance's salary costs. area The result of BOK calculation analysis on the existing collection and transportation system without the 3R TPS plan is found in one month fforn each truck operational cost of Rp. 42.720.870,80 with calculation of Rp. 28,967.23 / Ton while the cost with the 3R TPS plan is found in one month amounting to Rp. 4,200,850,50 with the calculation of the cost of Rp. 14.245,00 / Ton. There is a cost reduction efficiency of 90.167%. Vehicles carrying residues from the 3R TPS plan account for 20% of total market waste are from inorganic waste.
