Abstract

Bioremediation is the management that relies degradation by using microorganisms degrade hydrocarbons, is a more economical and environmental acceptable. Bioremediation involves adding nutrients and oxygen for the microorganisms degrade that has been added to the contaminated land. This treatment causes the increased number of microorganisms, as well as degrade organic compounds polluting activities. The purpose of this study was to test the ability of bacterial isolates hydrocarbonoclastic Pseudomonas sp. T4H3D5-4 and Bacillus sp. T2H3D5-5 singly and mixed (consortium) with different isolates concentrations (0,5% and 1%) in reducing petroleum contaminated soil TPH. The experimental design used was completely randomized design (CRD) factorial. Factor 1, which isolates and isolates concentration factor of 2, namely, with three replications. Prior to incubation, soil contaminated sediment in advance using petroleum. Experiments conducted over 4 weeks. Variables measured is the average population of bacteria, the release of CO2 is measured on a weekly basis, while the pH and TPH analysis measured at initial analysis (0 MSI) and the end of the study (4 MSI). And a complete analysis of the soil (organic C, N-P-K, Al-dd)performed at baseline after petroleum contamination as supporting data. The results showed that Isolate, concentration and interaction effect no significant effect on the population of the battery, the release of CO2, and a decrease in TPH. Treatment consortium hydrocarbonoclastic bacteria Pseudomonas sp. T4H3D5-4 and Bacillus sp. T2H3D5-5 at a concentration of 0,5% and 1% have the capacity 9,4 times (94%) in reducing petroleum contaminated soil TPH.
