Abstract

This research to find out how the process of the formation of the network and what forms of social networks on craftsman stockfish in Kalibaru North Jakarta. This research used the qualitative approach, spelled out in descriptive data source composed of Neighborhood community Kalibaru North Jakarta which craftsmen worked as stockfish. The technique of data collection in this research is the observation, interviews, and documentation. The technique of selection of informants used was purposive. Study informants amounted to 10 informants consisting o f 7 main informant and the informant 3 supporters. The results of this study showed that social network on craftsman stockfish in Kelurahan Kalibaru North Jakarta was formed because of the ties of friendship, the intensity of the meetings, and a sense of mutual trusting fulfillment of goods and services. Of the process of the formation of a network of craftsmen of salted fish study also get form social networks on craftsman salted fish, namely, network interest (the interest of network), a network of sentiment (a network of emotions), and power network (network power)
