Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between gratitude with life satisfactiom on rubber farmers in facing price fluctuation. The study hypothesis that there is relationship between gratitude with life satisfaction on rubber farmers in facing price fluctuation. The population of this study was rubber farmers with sample was 110 respondent and using sampling purposive techniques. Study measurement used gratitude scale that refers to dimensions of gratitude from Hlava, Elfers and Offringa (2014), then life satisfaction scale was measured by unidimensional scales that has been modified from Diener, Emmons, Larsen and Griffin (1985). Data analysis used Pearson’s Product Moment correlation. The result of correlation analysis shows that gratitude have a significant relationship with the life satisfaction, p-value= 0,001 (p < 0,05) and r = 0,312. Thus, the proposed hypothesis is accepted.
