Abstract

INFLUENCES OF PRODUCT ATTRIBUTES ON DECISION TO PURCHASE OF XIAOMI BRAND SMARTPHONE (Study On Students of Economics Faculty of Sriwijaya University) The purpose of this research is to examine the influence of product attributes simultneously and partially on purchasing decisions and find the most dominant variable influencing purchasing decisions. The independent variables are product quality (X1), product features (X2), product design (X3) and the dependent variable is purchasing decision (Y). The sampling technique is accidental sampling. Questionnaires are spread on 100 respondents who are the students of Economics Faculty of Sriwijaya University. Data analysis techniques used are multiple linear regression, T-test and F-test. The resultsof research indicate that product attributes which consist of product quality, product features and product design simultneously have influence on purchasing decisions, but partially, only product features does not have influence the purchasing decision. The result also indicate that the variable of product quality is the most dominant variable that influence the purchasing decisions.
