Abstract
The aim of this experiment was to study the effect of ammoniation on TMF ration on dry matter digestibility, Total VFA and Partial VFA concentration and methane concentration by in vitro technique. It was held from Mei to October 2016 in Animal Feed and Nutrition Laboratory, Animal Science Departement, Agriculture Faculty of Sriwijaya University, Animal Research Institution Bogor and Center of Emvrimental Agriculture, Pati, Central Jawa. Completely randomized design with 4 treatments P0 (60% of Elephant grass + 40% concentrate), P1 (40% Elephant grass + 20% TMF ammoniation + 40% concentrate) P2 (20% Elephant grass + 40% TMF ammoniation + 40% oncentrate) P3 (60% TMF ammoniation + 40% concentrate) and 4 replications. The result showed that application of varians Ammoniation TMF Ration has no significant result (P>0,05) on dry matter digestibility, Total VFA and Partial VFA concentration and methane concentration by in vitro technique. However, application of 60% Ammoniation TMF ration show lower methane concentration than elephant grass and could meet the nutrient requitment of ruminants.
