Abstract

This thesis entitled “Perkembangan Sosial Politik di Kota Prabumulih Tahun 2001 – 2014 (Contribution of history’s study of XII grade of Senior High School 2 of Prabumulih)”. The goal of this thesis are to know the background of the formed of Prabumulih City, to know the developments of social politicsm at Prabumulih City and the moment of the voting for the leader of Prabumulih City. This research used historical research. There are some steps of historical research including heuristic, criticize the source, interprate the data, historiography, politic approach and sosiologist. Prabumulih City was separated from Muaraenims regancy and forms Prabumulih City was validity since October, 17th 2001 with implement of self-goverment, Prabumulih City got Development in politic’s and social’s field. In the development of politic, Prabumulih City was held three times of voting to get the new leader. In the development of socialism, the life of Prabumulih’s people have good progress that visible in system of education, science system, necessities and health system. The process of writing this thesis used as a contribution and additional references for History’s study of XII grade of Senior High School 2 of Prabumulih especially for Local History Lesson
