Abstract

Tourism in Lampung Province is highly unique and original, tangible and intagible. However, the distribution of lampung tourism members experience:; unevenness with the vast ,majority (nearly 90%) just visit the city of Bandar Lampung and South lampung regency. Lampung needs a tourism support building that is able to inform about culture, art and other tourist attraction spots in Lampung to travelers in a way that is informative, educative and recreational namely a gallery. Gallery is a tourism support building which has many functions such as a display or exhibition and selling works of art as well as a space for the arts and public appreciation. Not only that. a gallery is also a space to showcase works of art contained in past time to the present in the form of renewal, experimenJal, and contemporary structure that is cducaJional, recreational, and informative. Regional architecture is a smelling I unification theme belween the old (Lampung traditionol architecture) and new (modem architecture) that is applied to lhe gallery's interior, the exterior of the building. and the resilience of srrucwres based on aspects of the climate, patterns of culturoJ and iconographies lampung with Transition of Space as its basic concept.
