Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendapatkan informasi mengenai pengaruh model pembelajaran Search, Solve, Create and Share (SSCS) terhadap hasil belajar dan keterampilan memecahkan masalah peserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Palembang pada materi ekosistem. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experimental dengan desain penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Penentuan sampel penelitian menggunakan Simple Random Sampling .Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes berupa soal pilihan ganda, observasi aktivitas peserta didik, angket keterampilan memecahkan masalah dan angket respon peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadinya peningkatan hasil belajar dan keterampilan memecahkan masalah peserta didik dengan nilai rata-rata tes awal kelas eksperimen sebesar 44,29 dan tes akhir sebesar 58,86, sedangkan rata-rata tes awal kelas control sebesar 42,71 dan tes akhir sebesar 58,14. Berdasarkan uji t-test menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran SSCS berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap hasil belajar dan keterampilan memecahkan masalah peserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Palembang pada materi ekosistem.
