Abstract

The study was aimed to design garden at Student Dormitory of Sriwijaya University to increase aesthetic and the functions. The method used was observation and survey, includes : inventory, analysis, synthesis, concept, planning and design, and evaluation. Design of Plan Master 2D and 3D Images, and videos by using Realtime Landscaping Architecture 2014 and adobe premier cc 2017. This design was combined using European garden style and mediteranean garden style. Euroepean garden is considered suitable with the charateristics of student dormitory building and enviroment condition of the design location. This style describes the semi formal garden with the side symmetry of right and left are the same but shows natural impression in this garden by laying plants with irregular patterns. The results of the garden design planning is a optimization land to inscrease aesthetic by making symmetrical pattern and give exotic impression with many crop to showed minimal water need and care also to showed hardscape to relaxation.
