Abstract

Discipline is one of the most important key for the realization of a good learning process. Students and lecturers are expected to always act in a disclipinary manner and constantly active in the learning process so that the main task of lecturers which is to transform and transmitt knowledge will be more focused. To avoid the overlapping schedules between period of time, and the appropriate classes, facilitating the functionaries to control and monitor the attendance of both students and lecturers in order to make an accurate and quick decision is very essential. Designing a program application to ease controlling the work schedule in light of achieving discipline in the educational system with the use of Biometric Identification Technology (Fingerprints) and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Technology is urgently needed. Program Work Scheduling is an application program based on a website which can be operated online, designed using the programming language PHP and MySQL database as well as utilizing the support of fingerprint attendance machine and RFID This application program is aimed to operate as a device that; is effective and efficient in order to maximize the process of scheduling and attendance of both students and lecturers, facilitates the publication of lecturing schedules along with the necessary changes, and also will help the calculation of the lecturer’s workload.
