Abstract

The use of affective domain instrument is expected helping teachers in the implementation of the affective assessment. The Curriculum 2013 requires teachers to use instruments to measure student’s attitudes. This research aim to reveal the affective domain instrument on chemistry learning in RPP and its implementation in the class. This research is descriptive exploratory with a qualitative approach. The data source of this research are three chemistry teachers of seven chemistry teachers that selected purposively from SMA Negeri 2, SMA Negeri 3, SMA Negeri 6, SMA Negeri 17, dan SMA Negeri 19 in the city of Palembang, which uses affective domain instrument (attitude) on the chemistry learning. Data collected by observation, interviews, questionnaire, and documentation. Data were analyzed separately in accordance with the purpose of research. Results of the questionnaire, as many as six teachers (85.71%) who use the attitude assessment instruments. Results of the interview 3 teachers, instrument and peer assessment more often is pronounced. Results of observation are not all assessment techniques which done at once. Results of documentation attitude assessment, founded the different in the instruments are used, and not all of the implementation of attitude assessment can be documented. From the data can be concluded that RPP, affective domain instrument was planned, not all of instruments attached, and instruments modified. In class, according to RPP, conducted in groups, and valuation techniques. Suggested that government provide training for schools about attitudes assessment instruments and all chemistry teacher should be able to apply valuation techniques attitude and modified instrument should be validated first. Research about attitude assessment instruments by all of chemistry teacher in public senior high school at Palembang that used to the Curriculum 2013 must be continue.
