Abstract

The study is entitled as "Socio-Economic Changes in Belitang District of East Ogan Komering Ulu years 2004-2013 (Donations Lessons of History Class Xll IPS in SMA Negeri l Belitang)". Issues raised is how socioeconomic changes Belitang Disaict of East Ogan Komering Ulu years 2004-2013. The purpose of this study was to describe tl1e changes in socio-economic life of society the Disaict Belitang East Ogan Komering Ulu years 2004-2013, Subdistrict governance structure Belitang East Ogan Komering Ulu years 2004-2013, and describes the changes in the socio-economic sub-disaict Belitang East Ogan Komering Ulu 2004-2013. This study uses historical research, that a systematic framework for collecting historical sources, with criticism and judgment in selecting the facts, to obtain the trutl1 and present in written form also interpretation and data analisys. Social aspects observed in this study include the agencies and institutions, such as government institutions, religious organizations, educational institutions, medical institutions, and residents. Meanwhile, the economic aspects are observed include agriculture, plantation. animal husbandry and fishery. The results of research showed that changes in socioeconomic conditions of society Belitang influenced by government service to the community more leverage and insight about the importance of education and health, as well as the increasing number of migrants. Development on the economic aspects such as increasing employment and increasing the facilities and knowledge in farming and animal husbandry.
