Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam proses mandi simboran pada acara pernikahan masyarakat di Desa Tanjung Raya Kabupaten Muara Enim, khususnya nilai budaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Informan atau narasumber dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 8 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dokumentasi, wawancara dan observasi. Uji keabsahan data yang digunakan meliputi uji credibility, uji transferability dan uji dependability. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang telah dilakukan sebelumnya, maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa nilai-nilai budaya yang terkandung dalam proses mandi simboran dalam acara pernikahan masyarakat Desa Tanjung Raya Kabupaten Muara Enim meliputi nilai gotong royong dan nilai kerukunan. Kata-kata kunci : Nilai-nilai Budaya, Adat Mandi Simboran, Adat Pernikahan Mayarakat Desa Tanjung Raya   ABSTRACT This study aims to find out the values are contained in the simboran bathing process at community weddings in the village of Tanjung Raya, Muara Enim Regency, especially the value of cultural. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The informants or resource in this research were 8 people. Data collection techniques used are documentation, interviews and observations. The validity test of the data used includes the credibility test, transferability test and dependability test. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of data analysis that has been done before, it can be concluded that the cultural values contained in the process of bathing the simboran in the wedding ceremony of the Tanjung Raya Village community of Muara Enim Regency include gotong royong value and the value of harmony.
