Abstract

Employment is an inseparable part of national development based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. Labor has a very important role and position as national development actors and targets. Therefore, there must be labor rights stipulated in Indonesian regulations, which include protection of workers' rights. Protection of labor is intended to guarantee the basic rights of workers while taking into account the development of the progress of the National and International business which is increasingly narrow in scope. Some of the workers' rights include getting compensation and proper treatment in employment relations. As stated in Article 28 letter D of the 1945 Constitution, every person has the right to work and obtain compensation and fair and proper treatment in work relations.
