Abstract
This study was aimed to observe the impact of gradual drought stress on snap bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) shrub type during early generative phase. The data was analyze based on crop growth analysis. This study began from November 2016 to February 2017. The design used in this study was Completely Randomized Design (CRD), with 4 treatments and repeated 8 times. Each replication consisted of 3 plants, so there were 96 plants in total. The treatment were control (CK0), drought stress for 4 days (CK4), drought stress for 8 days (CK8), and drought stress for 12 days (CK12). The results of this study showed that gradual drought stress inhibited growth and yield in snap bean. CK4 treatment decreased yield by 11,65%, CK8 decreased yield by 20,04%, and CK12 treatment decreased yield by 56,53%.
