Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Indeks keanekaragaman makrozoobentos di zona intertidal mangrove Semenanjung Sembilang kabupaten Banyuasin, Sumatera Selatan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari sampai Agustus 2018. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan Purposive Sampling. Lokasi penelitian sebanyak 3 stasiun dan setiap stasiun diambil 10 titik. Pengambilan sampel makrozoobentos menggunakan alat core sampler. Proses identifikasi makrozoobentos dilakukan di Laboratorium Ekologi Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, Universitas Sriwijaya. Hasil penelitian didapatkan yaitu dari kelas bivalvia, gastropoda, crustaceae dan family polycaeta. Nilai indeks keanekaragaman yang didapat dari tiga stasiun penelitian yaitu (1,73), (0,97), (2,14).
