Abstract
The aims of this research was to study the effect of manure + sprouts extract combination on cauliflower plant growth. The research was conducted from November 2016 until Februari 2017 at Experimental Station Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya. The design used was Randomized Block Design with 7 treatments and each treatmentswas repeated 3 plants. The parametersobserved including plant height, number of leaves, day of flowers, flower fresh weight, diameter of flowers, root fresh weight, root dry weight and harvest index. The result of this research showed that the applications of manure + sprouts extract has significant effects on 26% plant height, 15% number of leaves, 46,6% diameter of flowers, 197% flowers fresh weight, 26% root fresh weight, 9,3% root dry weight and 54,4% harvest index but has no significant effect on days of flowers. The best treatments based on the research was the treatments by chicken manure 250 g of which contains N, P and K nutrients that are sufficient for the development and growth of cauliflower yield.
