Abstract

Early childhood caries is the most common dental health problem that happens in childhood age. This disease can triggers mastication difficulties or early loss of teeth and affects the growth of teeth. Direct veneer composite resin restoration is one of many ways to treat a carious teeth. The purpose from this research is to discover the difference from comparisons of early childhood caries treatments saticfaction levels with conventional direct veneer composite resin and template methods. Twenty children with early childhood caries are treated with conventional direct veneer composite resin and template. Then parents fill the questionaire about treatment results satisfaction levels. Early childhood caries treatment results satisfaction levels with conventional direct veneer composite resin (94,74% very satisfied); template (100% very satisfied). Statistic test result shows that there is no significant difference between early childhood caries treatment satisfaction levels with conventional direct veneer composite resin method and template direct veneer composite resin method.
