Abstract
Giving of ameliorant cow manure to restore and repare land of coal post-mining soil due to mining activity. This research about The Dose Effect Of Ameliorant Cow Manure Of The Sengon Laut’s Growth And The Increasing Of Soil Ph In Phytoremediation Process Of Coal Post-Mining Soil, aims to know the effect of dosing cow manure in accordance in process phytoremediation of coal postmining soil using sengon laut (Paraserianthes falcataria (L.) Nielsen. This study was conducted in November to Desember 2015, located around the garden area Department of Biology, Laboratory of Plant Physiology and Ecology Laboratory of Department of Biology, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Sriwijaya, Inderalaya. This study used completely randomized design with the control treatment (without fertilizer), the treatment 28.27% cow manure, the treatment 33.33% cow manure and the treatment 38.39% cow manure, each treatment was repeated 6 times. This study begins with the sampling of soli post-ming of coal, then the seed preparation, determination of fertilizer used, the preparation of the planting medium, planting the plant appropriate of experimental design, and maintenance of the plant for 60 days treatment. At the end of the research done on the soil pH rise measurements, observations of the physical character of the plant which includes the measurement of the height of the plant, the amount of rhizobia and observations of leaf discoloration, as well as the measurement of chlorophyll content of plants.Based on the results obtained on the soil pH increases, higher plants, chlorophyll is influential, dry weight of the plant, and showed discoloration of the leaves of a greener and growing new shoots in the process of fitoremediasi in the land of coal pascatambang treatment 33.33% fertilizer.
