Abstract
The calculation of the intensity of the longwave radiation atmosphere at the surface ( LWd ) has been previously studied to find an empirical formulation. However, most of these studies were conducted in the sub-tropical region.The main aim of this research is Based on the location of the research that has never been tested in the tropics. The Tested formula are Swinbank, Idso& Jackson, and Satterlund. In order to test this formula, the benefits of this research can be to estimate LWd without a measurement tool like Pyrgeometer. The methodology of this study was comparing the test results formula with the results of measurement tools LWd, collected from a one-year period of data with data analysis every three months, in order to get the ideal formula in a period of one year some statistical tests are employed, which are correlation , Mean Bias Eror, Root Mean Square Erorr, Slope and Intercept. Based on these results generally from the correlation value, Mean Bias Eror, and Root Mean Square Eror, the ideal formula is Swinbank
