Abstract

This study aimed to determine the nutritional quality of dry matter, ash, crude fiber, crude protein and crude lipid on Total Mix Ration Silage oil with Hifer⊕ and EM-4. This research was conducted in June to September 2016 and the Laboratory of Experimental Cage Studies Faculty of Agriculture, University of Sriwijaya. The statistical analysis used was T test with two treatments and four replications. P0: TMRS (52,5% fiber palm juice + 37,5% palm fround leaves + 10% concentrate) + 3% Hi-fer⊕ P1: TMRS (52,5% fiber palm juice + 37,5% palm fround leaves + 10% concentrate) + 5% EM-4. The observed variables in this study was the dry matter content, ash content, crude fiber, crude protein and crude lipid. The results showed that administration of inoculant Hi-fer⊕ and EM-4 give different results at each treatment. Silage total mix ration of oil Hi-fer⊕ increase the value of the crude protein content (16,45% EM-4 and Hi-fer⊕ 25,73%) and coarse fat content (EM-4 11,41% and Hi-fer⊕ 13,26%).
