Abstract

This research aims to (1) describe and assess skill the cultivation of chili by self-help and recipients government in sukapulih village OganKomeringIlir, (2) Comparing the productivity of self-help and recipients government chili farming in the village, and (3) calculate the income received of self-help and recipients government in conducting farming. This research conducted in Sukapulih village hamlet 4 and 6 sub-district Pedamaran Ogan Komering Ilir. Data collection done in March until April 2017. The methods used in the implementation of this researchis survey method. The sampling method used in this study is non probability sampling, where in the samples selection determined on accidental sampling. Using sample farmers of 34 people. Data used primary and secondary data. The results of this study indicate assess skill the cultivation of chili by self-help and recipients government in sukapulih village OganKomeringIlir has been done well viewed from the assessment of farmers skills, where have moderate criteria, each with an average score 53,82 dan 52,29. While the results of the productivity generated by self-help smallholders 9.180,39 kilogram per hectare per year, while recipients government smallholders 5.800,00 kilogram per hectare per year. Results of the average income received of self-help smallholders Rp 94.805.612,1 per hectare per year with RC ratio is 2,53 percent, while recipients government is Rp 54.187.868,4 per hectare per year and RC ration is 2,32 percent.
