Abstract

Diseases that attack plants duku were obstacles of the production and quality fruit of Lansium domesticum tree. The purpose of this research was to study the various diseases attacking roots, stems, leaves, and fruits of Lansium tree (Lansium domesticum corr) in Ogan Komering Ulu Timur regency. The method used was survey method, namely purposive sampling. Direct observation was conducted in the field to identify the diseases found in Lansium tree. The result showed that diseases attacking Lansium tree were mainly Ganoderma sp. in the roots; Alternaria sp. and disease die molt in the twigs and stems; Algae red rust, leaf spot Sphaeropsis, and Anthracnose. in the leaves, And Anthracnose, fruit rot and root-down in fruit of duku. In general, disease found on duku treee in five villages sampled was not be controlled, because the disease did not decrease production of duku and economical loss. Therefore, farmer never pay attention to this diseases and they thought that the diseases were still be tolerated.
