Abstract

The purposes of this research were to : (1) analyze the household labor time allocation of certified seed breeding farmers and other activities (2) analyze factors influence the allocation of household labor time of certified seed breeding activities (3) analyze the impact of increased allocation of farmer working hours in certified seed breeding activities the allocation of working time farmers on activities other than rice breeding and otherwise. (4) calculate total income of household seed breeding certified farmers in Sako village Banyuasin Districts. The research was conducted in Sako village Banyuasin Districts. Which is determined purposively. Data collection was conducted in December 2016 to February 2017. The research method was a survey method which taken 39 farmers out of 65 farmers, by simple random sampling method. The average of household labor time allocation of seed breeding certified farmers in the amount of 237,64 HOK, for seed breeding certified production amounted to 29,31 HOK, and for other activities than seed breeding certified amounted 208,33 HOK. The average of total income that received by seed breeding certified farmers was Rp 52.655.520 per year, which total income of seed breeding production was Rp 40.330.505 per year, for non-farm of seed breeding certified income was Rp 4.546.553 per year, and for non- farm was non Rp 5.278.462 per year and average of income family member was Rp 2.500.000 per year. The factors that significantly affect the household labor time allocation of seed breeding certified farmers were family members, land area vast and income, meanwhile the factors that significantly affect the household labor time allocation of other activities than seed breeding certified farmers were allocation of seed breeding certified, family members and other activities than seed breeding certified farmers income. The increased allocation of work time on activities other than seed against work time allocation of seed breeding impact a decrease in the predicted value of the working time allocation of seed breeding by 0,03 HOK. Meanwhile the increased allocation of working time on seed breeding against the allocation of working time activities other than seed impact a decrease in the predicted value allocation of work time on activities other than captive by 13,90 HOK.
