Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine sedimentation in field of polder system. This research was conducted from June to September 2017 in Rawa Lebak Rice Field PT. Buyung Poetra Pangan Simpang Pelabuhan Dalam Village, Pemulutan Subdistrict and analyzed sediment samples at Biosystem Laboratory and Agricultural Chemical Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya. This research was conducted by using validity test and direct measurement in the field, Data analysis used is graphical test analysis and statistical analysis. Determination of the sample point of view. Repetition is done three times. Parameters obseved were bulk density, sediment thickness, sediment concentration, flow rate, sedimentation rate. The results showed that the average value of bulk density on the land was 1.5 g/cm3, the thickness of sediment on the 2 plot of 0.93 cm was greater than the amount of sediment in the first plot of 0.84 cm and the 3 plot of 0.78 cm and the amount of sedimentation at plot 1 was 4.10 ton/day, plot 2 that was equal to 4.42 ton/day and plot that was equal to 3.62 ton/day
