Abstract
Seaweed is a biological resource that contains bioactive compounds and can be used as a source of medicinal materials. Objectives of this study were to find kinds of endophytes bacteria and to discover the growth rate of endophytes bacteria in seaweed species Amphiroa Fragilissima. Result of study showed that the endophytes bacteria from seaweed species Amphiroa Fragilissima successfully isolated with the number were 2 isolates, they are Klebsiella sp bacteria with isolate code was AFI K and has characteristic of monobacil cell shape and negative gram and Veilonella sp bacteria with isolate code was AF2 P with streptococci cell shape and negative gram. Average number of Klebsiella sp bacteria growth was 0.491 (CFU/ml/hours) with the time generation was 110.516 (hour/cell). Average number of Veilonella sp bacteria was 0.382 (CFU/ml/hours) with the time generation was 477.276 (hour/cell).
