Abstract
The research was conducted from November 2018 to June 2019 at the Agricultural Workshop of Balai Latihan Kerja, Perumnas Sako subdistrict, Palembang, and Agriculturel Engineering Workshop, Agricultural Engineering department, Agricultural Faculty, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya, South Sumatera. The research was aimed to know pineapple leaf scrapping machine performance on different blade number and cylinder rotation speed. This research method used experimental method with two treatment factors each two levels and three levels with three replications was presented in tables and graphs. Water content of pineapple leaf was used as samples is 82.25 %. Teoritical machine capacity was showed an increase when the cylinder rotation speed getting faster. Effective machine capacity was produced shows the bladerotation speed was faster then capacity of the work machine must increasing. Efficiency machine was showed an increase when the blade getting more and the cylinder rotation speed getting faster. Fuel consumption was used at 0.3 liters. Diesel power used is greater than the power needed by the pineapple scrapping machine. The yield value was showed an increase when the cylinder rotation speed of the blade was getting lower.
