Abstract

To relize the goals of development, each country must pay attention to financing issues. One of the effort that must be taken by the government is from taxes. Palembang SAMSAT is one of the Regional Technical Service Unit under the Regional Revenues Service of the Province of South Sumatera, which is the result of the realizaton of an office with SAMSAT in Indonesia. Tax is a contribution to the state (which can be imposed) that is owed by those who are obliged to pay accordng to regulation, with no achievement back, which can be directly appointed, and the point is to finance general expenses related to the duty of the state to administer the government ”. In this study, researchers also used two data sources, namely primary and secondary data, some to SAMSAT and there where still many tax payer who haved sold mtorized vehicle have not reported it. In increasing the Regional original income from the Vehicle Tax sector, there are several activities carried out periodically to relize the realization targets that have been set: Socializing Tax Pay Before Maturity Making Joint Raids on Vehicle Tax Amnesty.
