Abstract
This research aims to study the influence of long-exposure LED grow light on Nutrient Film Technique against the growth of lettuce plants (Lactuca sativa L.). The research was held in February 2019 to April 2019. The research was analyzed using descriptive methods with presentation of data in the form of tables and graphs. The study was conducted with three treatments i.e. 12 hours (A), 18 hours (B), and 24 hours (C). The parameters observed in this study are the height of the plant (cm), the number of leaves (strands), and the weight of the plant (g). The results showed that the treatment using LED grow light for 24 hours radiation (C treatment) resulted in the growth of lettuce plants best for the parameters of the number of leaves and plant weight. The number of leaves and the weight of the plant respectively is 6.8 strands and 18.39 g. The high Parameter of the resulting crop is the highest of 12.8 cm produced by the treatment using LED grow light for 12 hours radiation and the lowest is 11.8 cm produced by the treatment using LED grow light for 24 hours radiation.
