Abstract

Palembang City Government provides Light Rail Transit as a means of transportation to meet the needs of community travel, however since the LRT in Palembang operates on July 23, 2018 the number of passengers a day using LRT has not met the target set by the government. One effort to increase the number of LRT passengers is to increase the connectivity or integration of LRT modes with other mass transportation such as Trans Musi and DAMRI. These efforts have been made but have not been able to provide maximum results, therefore in this study an assessment will be made of several criteria for integration of LRT, Trans Musi and DAMRI. The criteria used in this study are the integration of payment systems, suitability of schedules, transit facilities and completeness of information. Each criterion can be further divided into sub criteria, where the sub criteria can be measured quantitatively through primary and secondary data collection. In this study an evaluation of the integration of LRT with Trans Musi and Damri was carried out in the Seberang Ilir area of Palembang City, namely at the Punti Kayu LRT Station, RSUD LRT Station, Asrama Haji LRT Station, and Bandara SMB II LRT Station. This research is part of the integration evaluation study at thirteen LRT stations in Palembang. The stations are connected to the Trans Musi Bus which is corridor one which has a route from Alang-alang Lebar to Ampera and Damri Bus which passes two LRT stations in Ilir Area. In this research, the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method is used in the order of the hierarchy is the first stage of evaluation of the four criteria by the community, then the next stage of sub-criteria assessment is based on observations in the field. The calculation results show that the order of evaluation criteria for integration starting from the highest is the suitability of the schedule with a value of 1.9736, completeness of information with a value of 1.7074, transit facilities with a value of 1.4756, and a payment system with a value of 1.1161. Based on the overall criteria and sub criteria evaluation, it was obtained the order of integration evaluation at four stations in Seberang Ilir Region, namely Punti Kayu Station with a value of 1.8437, RSUD Station with a value of 1.7960, Asrama Haji Station with a value of 1.3622, and Bandara SMB II Station with a value of 1,2708. Punti Kayu Station is the best station for its integration assessment because the average time difference between LRT arrivals and departures with Trans Musi is 7 minutes, completeness of information conveyed through audio from officers and information boards and integrated payment systems that can be done at Punti Kayu Station. Based on the results of this assessment, the LRT integration service with Trans Musi and Damri at Punti Kayu Station can be used as a reference for other stations to achieve minimum inter-modal integration service standards.
