Abstract

THE USE OF GAS STOVES LIQUEFIED PETROLEUM GAS (LPG) FOR COOKING NEEDS IS VERY APPROPRIATE BECAUSE IT IS MORE ECONOMICAL AND ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY. HOWEVER, THE ENERGY FROM BURNING ON THE LPG GAS STOVE IS MUCH WASTED INTO THE ENVIROMENT AT THE TIME OF COOKING. THEREFORE, THE INNOVATION TO UTILIZE HEAT ENERGY ON LPG GAS STOVE BY ADING THE MATERIAL COIL PIPE SHEATH ON THE LPG GAS STOVE. THE COIL PIPE SHEATH IS A TOOL USED TO UTILIZE HEAT LOSS AROUND THE COMBUSTION OF OF A GAS STOVE FED BY WATER AND PLACED AROUND ANHELICAL-SHAPED GRIE BURNER. LPG GAS STOVE TEST USING COIL PIPE SHEATH WITH VARIATION OF COIL PIPE COAT DIAMETER 10 CM AND 12. IN THIS TEST COIL PIPE USED IS COPPER PIPE WTH DIAMETER PIPE 1/2 IN. THE TEST IS CARRIED OUT WITH THE SAME FIRE ENLARGEMENT TO HEAT THE WATER TERM REACHES 100oC. WATER TEMPERATURE DATA COLLECTION IN COIL PIPE SHEATH EVERY 2 MINUTES. THE RESULT OF THE TEST THAT THE UTILIZATION OF HEAT ENERGY TENERATED USING COIL PIPE COAT DIAMETER 10 (2,32KW) IS HIGHER THAT PIPE COIL COAT DIAMETER 12 CM (2,22KW) AND EFFICIENCY OF COIL COIL SHEATH WITH COIL PIPE COIL DIAMETER 12 CM (37,89%) HIGHER THAN THE DIAMETER OF THE COIL COIL OF 10 CM (35,81%), DUE TO THE TIME AND CONSUMPTION OF FUEL GAS USED TO THE WATER IN THE PAN LESS.
