Abstract

The aims of this research were 1) to calculate Arabica coffee farming income at Segamit Village, Semendo Darat Ulu Muara Enim Regency, 2) to calculate the added value of Arabica coffee processing at Segamit Village, Semendo Darat Ulu Muara Enim Subdistrict, 3) to analyzed the strategy of developing Arabica coffee processing at Segamit Village, Semendo Darat Ulu Muara Enim District. Data collection was conducted in November 2018. The research used by case study method. Sample of this research which taken by simple random sampling method for Arabica coffee farmers and sensus method for processing Arabica coffee. The data of this research consist of primary and secondary data. The results showed that 1) Income of the farmers of arabica coffee was Rp. 11,514,343.41 / Lg / year and R / C ratio of 4,30. 2) The added value of arabica coffee bean production was Rp. 3,600,65 with an added value ratio of 18.46 percent (medium) and the added value of ground coffee was Rp. 51,664.38 with a value added ratio of 34,44 percent (medium). 3) The strategy of developing arabica coffee is SO (Strength-Opportunity) strategy, which was used power to take advantage of existing opportunities.
