Abstract
Abstract. The purposes of this research were to 1) count and compared the income received by paddy?s farmers in dry and rainy season in Pelabuhan Dalam Village, 2) count the amount of consumption and savings of paddy?s farmers in dry and rainy season in Pelabuhan Dalam Village, 3) identified the ownership of assets owned by paddy?s farmer in dry and rainy season in Pelabuhan Dalam Village, 4) knowed the efforts have been done by paddy?s farmers to anticipate drought in Pelabuhan Dalam Village. The method of this research used survey method. The sampling method used simple random method (random sampling). The results showed that 1) there were difference in the average income by paddy?s farmers in dry and rainy season. The average income in dry season is Rp.2.720.893,33 /Ha/mt and rainy season is Rp.9.213.302,41 Ha/mt, average income when rainy season is higher than dry season, 2) average consumption of paddy?s farmer when dry season is Rp.6.013.816,67 by year and rainy season is Rp.6.335.250,00 by year. The average of savings by paddy?s farmer when dry season is Rp.945.743,33 and rainy season Rp.1.186.119,85, 3) the average assets of paddy?s farmer when dry season is Rp.406.666,67 and rainy season is Rp.1.266.666,67, 4) efforts of paddy?s farmer to anticipate the drought is provide a water pump.
