Abstract
This study was conducted to determine the effect of the Singular Value Decomposition Method (SVD) on improving the accuracy of the Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) Method for Detection of Duplication Forgery on digital image. Digital images used are 24 images that have been duplicated with BMP format. The test is divided into two processes that is duplication forgery testing using the Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) method and the second is the duplication forgery testing process using the Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) method followed by the Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) method. Tests carried out using the Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) method resulted in an average percentage of accuracy of 67% and an average duration of 32.8 seconds, while the second test using the Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) + Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) method resulting in an average accuracy rate of 74% and an average duration of 26.4 seconds. The test results show that the detection of duplication by the Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) method has increased accuracy after adding the Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) method.
