Abstract
The purpose of this research was to analyze noise and vibration produced by compost grinder machine type MKOM-200 Agrowindo. This research was conducted on October 2019 at Compost House Majoring in Soil Science, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya. This research uses descriptive method by presenting data in the form of counters, tables, and graphs. This measurement is carried out twice, ie without using material and using materials as well as with two measuring points namely 160 cm and 180 cm. Measurements were made with a motor rotational speed of 1400 rpm. The noise level measurement method is done by the grid method and the tool used in this measurement is the sound level meter. Vibration measurements are made at several points that have been determined on Agrowindo's MKOM-200 compost grinder, these measurements are carried out with a vibration meter. The parameters measured are noise and vibration. The Intensity of the noise is depicted in the mapping, where data is processed using "Software Surfer 11" the results displayed are noise contours. Vibration measurement data is displayed in graphical form. Based on the data obtained from the results of the research, the highest value of noise intensity from the operation of the compost grinder is measured using materials at a height of 160 cm by 96.5 dB and without material at a height of 160 cm by 93.0 dB. Whereas the vibration measurement data obtained the highest value at the test outlet measurement point with material of 45.2 〖m/s〗^2 and without material at the measurement point of the knife cover of 36.8 〖m/s〗^2.
