Abstract

This study is to determine the effect of sales growth, business risk, and liquidity on capital structure. The object of this study are food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2014-2018. Determination of the sample used is the purposive sampling method, then obtained 11 companies that meet the criteria and used as a sample in this study. Because this research is a quantitative study, the method used in analyzing data is a statistical method, in this case the regression method is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that partially sales growth has no effect on capital structure, but business and liquidity risks affect capital structure. The amount of influence is 0.537 or 53.7%, while the remaining 0.463 or 46.3% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
