Abstract
One of the sub-science from Artificial Intellegence is Expert System. Expert System use human knowledge from inference engine to solve problem that requires expertise from human expert. Many Expert Systems are in use for medical purpose like diagnosing certain disease. One of the popular methods for Expert System to diagnose disease is Certainty Factor method. Certainty Factor shows the measurements for certain facts or rule by defining the value of belief from hypothesis based on its evidence. Expert System in this research will be developed to be able to show the diagnose based on 2 highest value of disease from Combination Certainty Factor formula. Based on research with 15 kinds of symptomps and 5 kinds of digestive system disease for diagnosing sample of 30 patients, the developed Expert System can diagnose within 80% of accuracy and having average of belief value by 85,1%.
