Abstract

The objectives of this research were: (1) Analyze what factors influence the productivity of wetland rice farming in the village of P1 Mardiharjo Purwodadi Sub-District, Musi Rawas Regency, (2) Calculating the income of wetland rice farmers in the village of P1 Mardiharjo Purwodadi Sub-District, Musi Rawas Regency, and (3) Analyze the effect of productivity on the income of wetland rice farming in the village of P1 Mardiharjo Purwodadi Sub-District, Musi Rawas Regency. This research was conducted in P1 Mardiharjo village, Purwodadi Sub-district, Musi Rawas district in october 2018. Site selection was done purprosively (purposive). The sampling method used in this study is a simple random method, to find out the number of samnples representing the population using the slovin formula, and obtained as many as 40 respondents studies. The result of this study indicate that the factors that significantly influence productivity are variables on land area, fertilizer, and pesticides. While labor and seed variables have no significant effect produtivity, The average income of sampel farmers on wetland rice farming in P1 Mardiharjo village, Purwodadi sub-district, Musi Rawas district is equal to Rp. 7.626.296,15, per cultivated area per planting season, with an average income per hectare per plating season is Rp. 13.543.350,78, and there is a real effect of productivity on income with the regression coefficient obtained of 3622,955, indicating that every 1 percent increase revenue by 3622,955 percent.
